Robert was born in 1982 in Germany. He passed his final exam at Gymnasium Senftenberg in 2001. In October 2003 Robert started studying mechanical engineering at the University of Rostock.He passed his intermediate diploma in 2005 and then specialized in naval architecture & ocean engineering. Robert is holding a scholarship of German academic exchange service (DAAD) and will study at UCSD for one year.
Outside of study, Robert likes sailing, surfing and travelling.
