Max is a German student of mechanical engineering at the University of
Rostock, starting in 2002. He was born in 1983 in Stralsund. Both are
nice Hanseatic cities in the North of Germany, directly at the Baltic Sea coast.
In 2004 he passed his pre-diploma successfully and specialized in naval
architecture & ocean engineering. Max got a scholarship from "DAAD"
(German Academic Exchange Service) to study at UCSD as a visiting scholar
for one year.
He is taking classes in structural engineering and will do researches
in structural steel design. In his spare time, you will meet him on his
surf board at the beach.
