Biography of Matthias Panzer

Matthias was born at January the 6^th 1978 in Parchim, a little town in north-east Germany.

He attended the Friedrich-Franz-Gymnasium in Parchim and received the School Leaving Examination, the general qualification for university entrance, in 1996. During the time at the high school he had done an internship at the Lufthansa Technik AG in Frankfurt/Main.

Then he rendered his alternative national service at the Jugendfoerderverein Parchim-Luebz for 13 month. This association helps young people in their training to become a degree in different kinds of workmen.

In 1997 he started his study in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rostock. After his Intermediate Examination he decided to study dynamics and automotive engineering. In winter 2000/2001 he had an internship at Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart. He worked in research and development for power train systems and engine auxiliaries.

During his study he used to work for projekt rk. In this job he worked allover Germany and in Amsterdam (NL) to build exhibition booths/ stands for different companies.

He loves to listen to music and since the age of 8 years he plays trumpet. He played in severel bands, e.g. the marching band of Parchim.

Furthermore Matthias likes to watch and play soccer. His favorite German team is F.C. Hansa Rostock.
