Biography of Mathias Pfabe

Mathias was born in 1982 in the eastern part of Germany near Dresden. After he has passed his final examinations at Gymnasium Senftenberg, he started studing engineering at the University of Rostock in 2002. Rostock is located in the north of Germany on the Baltic Sea. Since he has received his pre-diploma in 2004, he is specializing in technical dynamics and propulsion systems. In September 2005 he got a scholarship from the german acedamic exchange service (DAAD) to study at UCSD for nine month. In this time he joins the talkegroup and works on a simulation of a pole tip protrusion with Maik.

In his spare time Mathias likes to do sailing and surfing.
