Biography of Longqiu Li

Longqiu Li has joined Professor Frank Talke’s lab as a visiting graduate student in 2008. He is here on a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council (CSC). He received his Bachelors (BS) degree in Mechanical Design Manufacturing and Automation Engineering in 2005 from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), China. He became a PhD student waived of examination in 2005. His research is related to experimental and theoretical studies of fretting wear of the dimple/gimbal interface and the tribology of the head-disk interface. Outside of work and study, Longqiu is very fond of travelling, singing and playing pingpong.
