Biography of Hui Li

Dr. Hui Li received his bachelor degrees in Mechanical Science & Engineering and Economics from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), P.R.China, in 1999. He received his Master’s degree in Mechanical Science & Engineering from HUST in 2002 and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Data Storage Institute (DSI), Singapore in 2007. From August 2005 to January 2008, he worked at the Mechanical Storage Laboratory, R&D Center in Hitachi Asia Ltd., Singapore. During the period from June 2006 to December 2006, he was appointed to work at the HD Unit, Central Research Laboratory, Hitachi Ltd., Japan. He joined the Talke group in January, 2008, and is working in the area of numerical modeling of the head-disk interface.
