Professor Ho-Jong Kang received his B.S. degree from the
Yonsei University
in 1982 and M.S degree from the
University of Tennessee, Knoxville
in 1985. He received Ph.D. from
University of Akron,
Polymer Engineering in 1989. Dissertation
under Prof. J.L. White which was focused research on the
relatively new polymer processing area of dynamics and
structure development on double bubble tubular film
From 1989 through 1990, he was working at the University of
Akron as a general faculty. He is now working at
Dankook University
, Seoul Korea as an associate professor in
department of polymer science and engineering since 1990.
His research activities are directed at developing advanced
polymer processing technology and understanding of
structure and property relationships in polymer processing.
Research program focuses on the polymer rheology , film
processing, fiber processing and composite processing.
Current research aims the developing high performance
polymeric film and fiber. An area of special emphasis
is the electromagnetic properties of composites
materials. In addition to fundamental polymer processing
work, several projects are aims at understanding
interfacial phenomena of polymer/polymer and
polymer/metal system.
