Biography of Sang-Wook Chun

Sang-Wook Chun was born in Pusan, Korea, 1969. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Department of Polymer Sci & Eng., and his Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Chemical Engineering from Dankook University, Seoul, Korea in 2000. He worked on the tribochemistry of perfluoropolyethers(PFPE) lubricants for hard disk in his Ph. D. He has been working at CMRR as a post doc from Oct. 2000. His current research interest is the tribology in head/disk interface as a function of degraded lubricants, chain-end functionality of lubricants, molecular weights of lubricants and their mobility using a CSS(contact start and stop) tester, SRA(surface reflectance analyzer), XPS(X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy), TGA(thermal gravity analysis), DSC(thermal scanning calorimetry), FTIR(fluorier transform infrared spectroscopy) and NMR(nuclear magnetic resonance) and so on.
