Biography of Christian Minx

Christian Minx is a visiting student in Professor Frank E. Talke’s lab for the academic year 2008/2009. Christian is here on a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). In 2005, he joined the mechanical engineering program at the University of Rostock. In 2007, he passed his pre-diploma successfully, now specializing in ‘Applied Mechanics’. His research within the Talkelab will focus on the wear of hard disk drive suspensions, especially at the dimble/gimbal interface. In his free time, Christian enjoys being a soccer referee and listening to music.
